Explanation of
the situation: The Arizona
Cardinals (National Football League)
had one win and seven losses in the
first half of their season.
They had no game for the next two
weeks, so the players were given
three days without practice.
Many were saying it was a time to
assess and reflect on their
performance from the first eight
games. Adrian Wilson had
another take on the time to reflect.

The three days off can be a time for
reflection, for players to ask
themselves what they can do in the
second half that they didn't do in
the first. Strong safety Adrian
Wilson, however, doesn't believe
much in the benefits of that.
"Personally, I don't have to look at
myself in the mirror to look and see
what I got to do to get better in
the second half," he said. "If you
have to re-evaluate what you did,
whether you were playing hard or
not, chances are you shouldn't be
here. That's just the bottom line."

Do you think
Adrian Wilson believes in
self-evaluation, personal
responsibility and internal
